We have many sheep, cattle and goats here, which we use for their milk. We can then make cheese from this. We also use the sheep wool and meat, although the meat from cattle is not very popular in the Roman world, so we have our cattle only for their milk and to use to pull carts and the like. Oxen are also used for this reason.
During the summer, the stock is usually driven up into the hills, as the lowland pastures dry up. There is more to feed them up there during this time.
